Frequently Asked

The questions I get asked most.

From how much a project costs to how long it takes: honest answers to the things most people want to know before getting in touch.

Every project is different, but as a guide, a small business website typically starts from around £2,500. More complex builds (e-commerce, custom functionality, bespoke booking systems) will be more. The best way to get an accurate figure is to get in touch with a brief outline of what you need. There's no obligation, and I'll always tell you honestly whether what you're asking for is worth the investment.

A straightforward site usually takes two to four weeks from brief to launch, depending on how quickly content and feedback comes back. More complex projects can take longer, typically six to eight weeks. I'll give you a realistic timeline at the start of the project and stick to it.

Yes. Most sites I build run on WordPress, which means you get a simple admin panel to update text, images, blog posts and more without touching any code. I'll walk you through how it works at handover, and I'm always on hand if you get stuck.

A template is a pre-designed layout that gets adapted to fit your brand. Fast and cost-effective, but you're sharing a design with thousands of other sites. A custom build starts from your brief and is built around exactly how your business works. Every site I build is designed and coded specifically for the client, which means it fits properly, performs better, and doesn't look like anyone else's.

Yes, and it's one of the more useful things about working with me. Having the same person shoot the images and build the site means everything fits together from the start: no back-and-forth between a photographer and a developer, and no compromises on how images are presented online. Several of my long-term clients use me for both.

I'm based in Norfolk and do a lot of work across Norfolk and Suffolk, but I regularly travel further afield for the right project. I've shot in London, Cambridge and across the UK. Travel is factored into the quote. Just ask.

For most shoots, edited images are delivered within five to seven working days. For events or larger shoots I'll agree a turnaround time with you upfront. Everything is delivered via an online gallery for easy download.

Absolutely. While a lot of my work is local, I work with clients across the UK. Web projects are handled entirely remotely without any loss of quality — most clients find a call and shared screen works just as well as a meeting in person.
