Privacy Policy

Plain English. No small print. This policy explains what personal data this site collects, why, and what happens to it. It applies to adambarnes.biz and is governed by UK GDPR.

Who is responsible for your data

Adam Barnes, trading as Platform Ticket LTD (Company No. 07755177). If you have any questions about how your data is handled, email hello@adambarnes.biz.

What data is collected and why

Contact form. When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, message and — if you choose to provide it — your phone number are sent directly to Adam's email inbox. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is legitimate interest: you are contacting a business with a view to working together.

Google Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long people spend, and where they come from. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies

This site sets cookies for two purposes: your dark or light mode preference (stored locally in your browser, never sent anywhere) and Google Analytics measurement cookies. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

How long data is kept

Contact form enquiries are kept in the email inbox for as long as they are relevant to an ongoing or potential working relationship, then deleted. Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, which is Google's default setting.

Who data is shared with

Contact form submissions are not shared with any third party. Google Analytics data is processed by Google under their standard terms. No personal data is sold, rented or passed to any other organisation.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data held about you, request that it is corrected or deleted, and object to how it is processed. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@adambarnes.biz. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
